Service Complaints

Most Service Complaints relate to the Firm and fall into the categories below 

  • Lack of Communication
  • Failure to reply to Emails 
  • Promising to return a telephone call and failing to do so 
  • Failure to explain clearly the legal issues affecting the client 
  • Failure to clearly explain the consequences of decisions 
  • Failure to meet a time bar date which halts any action 
  • Failure to turn up to a Court hearing 
  • Last minute substitution of another Solicitor who is not up to speed 
  • Delegation of another to seek continuance as the  case work has not been carried out
 

Conduct Complaints 

 These can be wide and varies and may cross over with service issues, but relate to the personal acting of a Solicitor 

  • Agressive Behaviour 
  • Rudeness
  • Condecending Behaviour
  • Telling Lies
  • Financial Irregularities
  • Assault
  • Improper Advances/Behaviour
